I have great news!!! I just received a phone call from the lady at our Congressman's office that our I-600A application has been approved! I don't actually have the I-171H in my hands yet, but it is on it's way. As soon as I receive it I will overnight it to be apostilled and then it will be on it's way to Ukraine!

This is the last thing we were waiting for for our dossier, so it looks like our completed dossier will be in Ukraine by next week. Once it is in Ukraine my facilitator will have to finish translating it, have it notarized and then will go to the SDA to get a submission date. We hope to be able to submit fairly quickly and then we will receive a travel date!

It is not over, but this was the last big hurdle to get over. We are finally approaching the end of this paperwork chase and nearing the travelling phase.

We are coming baby girl!!!!!!

  1. Jaime,

Congratulations! I am so excited for you....Praying for a quick travel date!

  2. That is awesome news! Something is in the water!

  3. Woo hoo! How exciting! Guess what, a missionary recently contacted me about one of the orphans she ministers to in Ukraine. He is HIV + and she asked us if we would prayerfully consider adopting him or find a family for him! Coincidence???

  4. WooHoo! Hey, we'll race you - I think that we are sending our dossier off this weekend!!!

  5. Hurray! thanks for putting your blog address on RR. I am so excited that your dossier is almost ready to go !!!! I hope it gets submitted soon, you get to travel soon, and you meet your daughter soon.
