I have finally got around to updating the look of our blog. Victoria has been home for 8 months, so I guess the blog was not really about our journey to bring home our daughter from Ukraine anymore. I am leaving our adoption time line in the side because I know that can be helpful for other families adopting. I still want to promote adoption and advocate for the adoption of children with HIV, so I want everyone to know that I am still more than happy to answer questions about adoption. If we are ever lucky enough to be able to adopt again in the future, our blog will be used to journal that journey again.
I mainly want our blog to be used to show how normal our life is living with HIV. We do the same things as other families and Victoria is just like any other 4 year old.

Love the new look and the new name. I always love reading your blog to see what the girls are up to.
ReplyDeleteYour blog is inspiring. We are also adopting a 4 yr old HIV+ little girl from Ukraine along with her younger sister. The girls are bright and beautiful with tons of personality. We look forward to giving them a wonderful childhood and all the opportunities in the world. Thank you for the comforting email and words of encouragement. Paula Jeanne
ReplyDeleteYour blog is so pretty, and I'm glad to see you are still uploading pictures of your girls. I just adore seeing the two of them together... they were always meant to be sisters!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to be! Sharing on the side with those who need it... but focusing on LIVING - ON THE GOOD, not the struggles. What we focus on is what we bring to others minds. We all want to be directed to the good in life! :D
ReplyDeletePS I think it is SO GREAT that you adopted that precious little girl. :) And bty... your blog is really pretty (time to do something with mine - LOL). Nice to run into your blog.
