Great news!

Little Vaughn that I posted about two posts down has a family!!!!!

The Boys

Today I am going to post three children instead of just one. These boys are all in the same orphanage and all have a very, very special place in my heart. These boys were Victoria's "brothers" for four years. She spent every second of every day with them. They are all sweet, playful, funny little boys that desperately need a family.

"Dillon"

"Owen"

"Cole"
Click on the Reece's Rainbow logo on the side of my blog and scroll down to the boys in 5 to read their information. I also have additional pictures of them and some information about their personalities if anyone is interested. There are a few other families that have met them as well that probably have even more pictures.

Vaughn

This sweet little boy is Vaughn. Please excuse the girl shirt, he is a little boy. He recently lost his adoptive family. He has a $1995 grant toward his adoption. Click on his picture to go to his Reece's Rainbow page for more information on him. There are also other children with HIV available in his orphanage (any child with a 14 next to their name on the Reece's Rainbow HIV page could be adopted with Vaughn).

Advocating

I have recently taken on the responsibilities as the HIV Family Coordinator and Support Liaison for Reece's Rainbow. This has really started me thinking about my responsibilities to the waiting children and the families that are in the process of adopting.

One thing that I am vowing to do better is to advocate for these children and families. So, I will be doing posts occasionally to introduce either a waiting child or a family in the process. If you feel led to help financially that is always greatly appreciated, but prayer and spreading the word is just as important.

The child I am going to start with is Marat. He is an older boy and doesn't have much time. Please click on his picture to go to the Reece's Rainbow page with his information. He seems like such a smart boy with so much potential!

Merry Christmas

Okay, so I'm a day late and a dollar short but we had a wonderful Christmas and hope you all did too.
Here are a few pictures from Christmas Eve, Christmas morning and the pictures I used for my Christmas cards/birth announcements this year.
