Prayers needed

Well, it is now 3:15pm here and we still don't have Victoria's visa. The Embassy is still waiting for the approval from the USCIS in Moscow. We still have a few hours today and a few hours in the morning tomorrow and we could still make our flight. If we don't get it I guess I will have to change my flights again. Most likely my Mom will go home, but it looks like the next flight Victoria and I could get on would not be until Thursday.

Please pray that we get this visa!!!!

  1. Praying it comes quickly!!! I know you are MORE than ready to be home!

  2. Hi Jaime!

I will be praying for it to come asap! I know how you feel. But you will be home before you know it....the whole family together! It will be great!!!

    Love, Paula

  3. I am following along and want to say Congratulations on your adoption! I know how those last days are, you are so close to boarding that wonderful plane home to start the next adventure. I hope the paperwork arrives in time.

  4. Hey, have a call into PH and talked to someone at TGCF. They'll see what they can do about getting the paperwork expedited but not sure if they'll be able to get it done in time for your flights on Tuesday. Will let you know when I know someone. You can email me at

  5. It will come in on time! I'm staying positive. If anyone can make it happen, Project Hopeful can!

  6. Hey Jaime,

I'm so sorry but this is the first time I've been on line since last week. I wanted to wish you a Happy Belated Birthday!!! I hope everything works out for you and Victoria. I can't wait to see you. Love you and miss you.

  7. Sending prayers that you get documents & make the flight tomorrow.

  8. In case you're stuck for a couple more days, you should contact this other family who is in Kiev, finishing their adoption of a HIV+ little boy. Their blog is
